Season of Love

It's amazing how so many people celebrate Valentine Day and Christmas Day but not knowing the origin of it but the message of love link to these date was celebrated by all.

Valentine Day is a day to remember Saint Valentine a Roman priest martyred during the reign of Claudius II, known as Claudius Gothicus. He was arrested and imprisoned upon being caught marrying Christian couples and otherwise aiding Christians who were at the time being persecuted by Claudius in Rome. Helping Christians at this time was considered a crime. Claudius took a liking to this prisoner -- until Valentinus tried to convert the Emperor -- whereupon this priest was condemned to death. He was beaten with clubs and stoned; when that didn't finish him, he was beheaded outside the Flaminian Gate

Guess not much people really cares what's the true meaning behind this all but it is indeed a day to celebrate love but what is the defination of love to you?

Did a quick check on merriam-webster and here are the results:

1: strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties
2: warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion
3: the object of attachment, devotion, or admiration
4: unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another
5: a god or personification of love

For the season of love, I will like to share a verse from the Bible 1 Corinthians 13 verse 4 to 7:

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

May true love be bless upon you and your love ones.
