This is really Goodbye

Love this song from Korean drama "Lie to me"

It's been a busy week and weekend with work and this have to go on for the next 1 month. This is one great song to keep me going...

English Translation
http://chloeplus.blogspot.com

Where did you go, the you who just passed me by and left?
Are you doing fine, at a place without me by your side?
Hoping you'll come back, the times I've waited for you
I'll let it go now, I'll forget you now

The beautiful times we had, they're all memories now
The tears I shed when I missed you like crazy
Hoping you'll come back, time stood stagnant
I'll let you go and leave now, goodbye

Couldn't you find it, the road that leads back to me?
Should I wait a little while more, should I wait here a little longer?
Hoping you'll come back, I waited all this while
I'll let it go now, I'll end it for real

My love for you that I held on so tightly, is slowly dissipating
The me that went crazy missing you, is gradually changing
Hoping you'll come back, time has stood stagnant
I should erase it all now, for real

My love, it ends right here, this never-ending yearning
Stuck in my throat, I couldn't say it
Those heartbreaking words of parting
All my beautiful memories of you, it's leaving me right now

Like falling tears, my love is slowly dissipating
The me that went crazy missing you, is gradually changing
Hoping you'll come back, time stood stagnant
I should erase it now, for real

Should erase it now,
I should forget you now, goodbye

Looking back...

Sometimes when I am less busy...I have time to sit down and reflect the past...cos recently a friend say I am strong but this word was never in my dictionary. If I am strong today, it is through God.

I have blogged on some findings of myself last month which I am not too proud and will like to change. May the power of God be with me always and that I will be able to live my life in His image.

So let me blog this down for my future when I need to look back again...Always remember 1Peter 4:8 - 11

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen!

So now let me do what I do best....share....and this song for anyone out there.

It's K Time

Singing is a good way to de stress....miss all my friends that can K with me in SG.

Love this song, great rhythm and lyrics...something I can relate too.
Below are the lyrics to sing along. Here we go...

休息是為了走更長的路...this is why I need a holiday every once in awhile
你就是我的旅途...Yes, I want to witness God's creation in every journey
都是因為你 我一直漫步...do not forget the flowers along the way

To all my friends from the past, present and future...

Maybe we will lost each other along the way but I have to Thank you for being there along the way, making this life journey wonderful and unforgettable.

Be course of your presence, I am able to live as I am Today!

Thanks for your love and care... 愛 是為彼此祝福

Recent findings about myself

Recently I have some surprising findings about myself:

1) I actually care about my home country....Singapore. I never thought much of my country and have no personal pride or even try to defend much when some people I met will criticize on my home country. But the recent event and happening to GE keep me stay up all night to catch the news. This really caught myself in surprise....

2) I am a lone traveler always in these recent years and I thought I will miss companionship....recently went for a short trip with my co-workers...this make me realize that I rather travel alone then stuck in a car or somewhere if the company is not right. Oh...and I prefer to travel with my guy gangs than gal gangs. They are more true and will display their likes and dislikes from their face...I really dislike pretenders and tired of their games. Maybe I am better off alone....hmmm.

3) Language barrier do make a difference. I ever thought of having a partner of different races but from the recent trip, I realize that I feel out of place when I am unable to communicate or understand in a conversation. This really gives me second thoughts about going into a relation with someone that I could have language barrier.

4) I totally cannot click with bimbos or people who only wants to look good and self-centered. All topics always revolve about them and no one else. They are really good with the big talks about caring for the less fortune but action speaks louder than words.

Oh no....am I getting older and crankier....

This is classic...hv to save it on my blog.

Which maid to choose?
by Ming Lee Lim on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 5:16pm

I need your urgent advice about employing a maid. As a busy mother, I need someone reliable to help out at home.

My maid is from Profits Agency Pte (PAP) and she has worked for me for a long time. Her mother worked for my parents and did an excellent job, so I had faith in her. For several years her performance has been very good, but recently she has become arrogant and insensitive, and is making lots of mistakes.

For example:

1) She flooded my kitchen – she told me that the drain pipe has blocked (she was supposed to clear it once a month but didn’t). Then she assured me that it is very rare and won’t happen again in the near future. Guess what? It flooded again within a year!

2) She didn’t close a window and my terrier dog escaped. I was so worried cos he is dangerous and could bite lots of people. After the incident, she didn’t apologise and just shrugged her shoulders saying “What to do, it has happened.” Fortunately my neighbor found the dog and we locked it up again.

3) Without consulting me, she has been bringing in strangers for my house's maintenance work. She says they charge low wages and keep costs down, but they eat my food, make a lot of noise and rest on my bed. I think they even tried to seduce my husband. It stopped feeling like my home, more like a cheap hotel, and I don’t always want to come back at the end of the day.

4) When she first came to work for me, I instructed her to clean the different parts of the house at least once a week. But for some time she has stopped taking care of the bedrooms of PP and H; they are now dirty and messy. I asked why and she told me that the kids had been disobedient, so she was neglecting their bedrooms as a punishment (she has forgotten that she is paid to clean all the rooms).

Even though my maid has worked for me for many years and I value what she has done in the past, I think she is now getting complacent. Her attitude is imperious and dismissive. She ignores my comments and basically treats my feedback as "noise". I wrote to the agency about her behavior; they assured me that they are the best agency around and all their maids are “Commited to Serve” – but I think it is just rhetoric and I don’t see that in her actions. Her salary is much higher than maids in other countries, but the agency say this is to keep her honest and stop her moving to another employer. They say there is a limited supply of maids, and Singapore isn’t big enough for more than one good maid agency, so I should not trust their competitors.

I have to decide whether to renew my maid’s 5-year employment contract. When we discussed this she said that she is now part of a team, and if I want her I must also accept her friends doing part-time work for me. One friend is very inexperienced, can't do basic tasks or explain what she intends to do. I suspect that she is actually underage. When interviewed, she only seemed interested in her days-off and visiting Universal Studios. When she couldn't answer my questions she stomped her foot and exclaimed, "I don't know what to say!" But I am still expected to pay her a high salary.

Now there happen to be a few other maid agencies - Workhard Pte (WP), New Solutions Pte (NSP), Super Personnel Pte (SPP) and Star Domestica Pte (SDP) - that offered me some helpers who seem sincere, genuine and intelligent. They are keen to work, willing to assist me and have a good attitude. I know that they may take a bit of time to learn how everything works, but frankly I am inclined to give them a chance.

People say that the devil you know is better than one you don’t. But I feel that I can’t tahan my current maid anymore. Do you think I should sack my current maid and try out a new one? Appreciate your advice.

2010 Japan After Thoughts part 2 - Lost & Found!

"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God."Psalms 42 verse 11

This trip to Japan is to find the peace that I have lost and be a witness to God's creation...

"My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" Psalms 42 verse 2

Just like this picture, God have created for me at this moment. The angle, the weather, the light, nothing can replace it as it is one and only.

I found the greatest joy when taking pictures of God's creation...able to take down that moment that God has given me and share it with others.

"Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: a prayer to the God of my life." Psalms 42 verse 8

May my Faith be like the mustard seed and increasing every day I pray...

"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field; which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches." Matthew 13 verse 31 to 32.

This trip is fruitful for both the body and soul for I have seek and found God's Wonder.

2010 Japan After Thoughts part 1

I was so looking forward to this break as I am mentally tired with work and it is a good sabbath break. A time to get heal by God's creation...

Before the trip, I did some planning with the train schedule and places I will visit but with the thought that I should take it slow and put my trust in my God as the journey unfolds.

My first day in Japan was a little gathering with my friends in Japan, have a wonderful and tiring day, doing shopping, catching up @ lunch, get a hair cut, dinner with free flow of shabu pork and a night visit to Roppongi-Hill to see the night view of Tokyo Tower and Museum. It was a wonderful deferred birthday celebration for myself.

Woke up early at 430am for my 2nd day as I begin my journey to Yamagata but I miss my train by 2 mins to Tokyo which departs at 0531am and thus unable to connect to my Shinkansen for Yamagata at 0612am. My first reaction was to take taxi to Tokyo but it was a stupid thought. After calming down, I tell myself again that this is trip to relax and with a quick prayer, I took the next trip to Tokyo station.

@Tokyo, I manage to find the next Shinkansen leaving at 0716am which will bring me to Shinjo at 1054am. Although I could not get to Yamagata but this is the transfer point for my day trip to Furukuchi.

The weather was great at Furukuchi for the river ride but the leaves are still green... I am too early for Autumn.

Dark clouds was moving in when i was about to leave Furukuchi and manage to catch this photo as my train speed off to Yamagata where I will stay for the night.

It was the perfect picture to end the day as I could feel God's presence strongly and always be reminded that although the days seem dark but light will shine through. Nothing can be hidden from Him...help will come no matter how bad it may seems....

AMAZING GRACE how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me;
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour i first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis grace that brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.

Learning to let go...

It's been a terrible week for me...internal struggle everyday which i hardly care last time. I thought I am strong and able to forgive and forget...

Well, not so sure if I have the rights to forgive and forget cos it did not really happened to me...but I am struggling with this everyday. Maybe it is kind of stupid of me to let this trouble me but my holy spirit tells me that I have to learn to let go. I cannot be His child if I cannot even bring myself to forgive and forget the deed that was done to my dad.

I have been praying and thinking about this issue and asking for forgivness cos I do not know how to forgive...a simple thing that I thought I could.

Here I am again sitting down, feeling troubled and pondering as I listen to my fav mp3...and getting all teary.

I see a pathetic soul which is nothing if God do not loves me, I am nothing, worthless but He loves me so...why I cannot let go of angry and grief which even my dad do not bears... and I pray that God will understand that I will learn to let go, if I cannot do it today, I will do it slowly... to be worthy of His blessings and His love...cos I don't know how I lived till now if without His love.

Black Terrorists among the so called peaceful protesters

Why are they covering their face? These are the real terrorists that are working behind the innoncet looking 'Reds'.

Monday, May 17, 2010

No guns in here!

No guns in here!

As a saying goes...the smart one will pay money while the dumb will take action. There are many protesters at the Red rally that came with family and they have so much to loss. Maybe they are simple minded thus they thought that by being there, the current goverment will dissolved.

Wat they did not see is the political power struggle behind. Although I am no fans of the current goverment but yet I also do not support Thaksin. Although it was wrongful before when they topple his goverment few years back but what he is doing now does not prove that he is a good goverment either. He is just paying money to support this on-going riot and other than money, he did not suffer the stress the people are facing. He is smart by controlling all this behind and let the people that adores him to suffer and die for him instead. This is a selfish act which he can put a stop by dismissing the 'Reds' but he did not and instead pushes all the blame on the current goverment. It takes both hand to clap therefore Thaksin and the 'Reds' should also take responsible for the death and if they really care for their country...they should put a stop to it.

Missing everyone @ home...

Jus finish a webcam conversation with my family...did not know that I miss them so...How much my parents hv aged jus two months especially my mum...when did she grow that old? Her eyes has lost the focus and shine...Did I make a wrong choice to pursuit my work?

Work was wonderful despite the terrible situation that Bangkok is in right now but did I give up something more valuable back home?

This is the first time I have doubts about my choice...but I know that God is with me and He will walk with me on this path.

Hope this month will pass faster and I can be home in June to see my family again.

Amen!

New Life, new work @ BKK

Thanks to all my friends and their blessing. It's been 3 weeks since I left home and all is well in new job and enviroment. Although there are many recent 'Red Shirt' happening in Bangkok right now but no direct impact to my daily chores. Just to let everyone who read this blog know that I am safe and still counting my daily blessing.

Sometime I will wake up in the night and think that this is still a dream. It seems unreal that I have so much in life. I knew this is no credit to me but to My creater. He who knew me better than myself....He had heard my prayers and answer them better and given me much more than I have asked for.

May I live His way and lead a life that will glorify His Name.

Ask and it is given...May the blessing of God be with you as He is with me. Amen!

Please help to stop the killing

Eight days later than usual, but still arriving, this year's seasonal cetaceans killing has begun at Taiji with about 50 pilot whales and 100 bottlenose dolphins being driven into the cove this morning as of 10 Sep 2009.

Taiji's fisherman plan to catch about 2,400 dolphins during this season, as well as pilot whales, neither of which are protected by the International Whaling Commission's ban on whaling. Upwards of 22,000 dolphins, porpoises, pilot whales and false killer whales are taken each hunting season.

Despite how heartbreaking it is to see dolphins killed like this, the kicker of this whole situation is that the meat is sold to a population of people who are for the most part completely unaware that it is laden with mercury (the dolphin meat served in Japan has as much as 5000 times more mercury than allowed by Japanese laws), and mostly unaware that it is dolphin in the first place since the dolphin meat is often labeled simply as "whale meat" in order to fetch a higher price. So not only are the fishermen killing thousands of intelligent animals in a horrific manner, they're also slowly killing people. A sad situation all around.

Please help to stop the killing by signing on the petition

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/3/stop-the-dolphin-slaughter

I love meat but this is one meat I will not take

Damn! I am feeling guilty of eating whale meat once in Japan. Now I am suffering from a heavy heart as I am typing here. I love sashimi and meat but I really cannot bear the thought of eating dolphin meat. Especially after watching 'The Cove'. Some people will think that it is nothing wrong about killing dolphin since we also kill other animal for their meat but what's the point of killing dolphin when their meat is high in mercury and consuming their meat will end up killing us. Demand and supply theory again, if no one consume dolphin, they will stop killing dolphin.

The BIG Mayonnaise Jar

Something interesting to ponder over....was send to me by others.

When things in your life seem, Almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class

And had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again
If the jar was full... They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand

And poured it into the jar.. Of course, the sand filled up everything
else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded
With an unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced Two cups of coffee from under the table
And poured the entire contents Into the jar, effectively
Filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, As the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life..
The golf balls are the important things - God, family,
children, health, friends, and favorite passions ?

Things that if everything else was lost

And only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter Like your job, house, and
car.

The sand is everything else --
The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life..

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are
Important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things That are critical to your happiness.
Playwith your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time
To clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter..
Set your priorities.. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand
And inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'
